Semiconductor and carbon based nanostructures in magnetic fields
Scope :
The aim of this meeting is to gather the actual and potential collaborators of our lab in the fields of quantum Hall effects, two dimensionnal electron gas, quantum dots, semi magnetic semiconductors, graphene and carbon nanotubes, with the aim of summarizing and discussion of current results and searching for new, interesting common projects for future investigations.

The workshop will start on Monday, November 24th, and will end on Wednesday November 26th, 2008.

Accommodation :
50 rooms have been pre-reserved for the duration of the workshop in few small hotels of the Grenoble down town.

From the airport :
There is a bus service every hour from the Saint Exupery airport. (Grenoble-Lyon airport = 1hour)

From Grenoble train station to GHMFL:
We have arranged a bus service that will leave from the grenoble bus station ("gare routiere" in french, next to the train station) at 08:15 am from tracks 21-22.
The standard bus service to GHMFL is bus n° 34 that can be reached in front of the station (gare) and you should stop at "Place de la résistance".Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver or in a booklet (carnet) from tobacconists or at tramway stations (automatic distributor).(Bus 34 time table )
